The
Goldener Adler Restaurant was established in 1390. As I am a fan of
history, I was thrilled to know that I was dining at the same place
as Goethe, Mozart, Chaucer and even Sultan Hamengku Buwono X from
Jogjakarta, Indonesia. We decided for having our dinner in this place
after read a several good reviews about it.
The
traditionally dressed servers welcomed us and do it in a relaxed
manner as I personally like to enjoy my dining in a relaxed manner.
I
had the Wiener Schnitzel (veal) with Parsley Potatoes & mixed
Salad, and Creamy veal goulash with buttered spätzle for Mr
Husband. Everything was cooked to perfection, but only the wiener
schnitzel that i had the night before in other small restaurant was
slightly much better, but still the ambiance in Goldener Adler was
unbeatable.
The
prices were extremely reasonable for the standard of the food.
Average of € 30 per head (including 2 glasses of wine).
