Riad Jaaneman : The Ultimate Luxury Riad in Marrakech

The number of hotels in Marrakech continues to increase with its popularity as a tourist destination, however nothing can beats the pleasure of staying at the Riad which is a traditional Moroccan house in the Medina (Old City).
Staying in a Riad is one of the easiest ways to get acquainted with the traditions and daily life of the Moroccan people.

Whether it s a romantic trip, luxurious weekend, or backpacking, it is easy to find a Riad that suits your budget.

Riads have no windows facing the street -- all face the courtyard

At first i choose Riad Meriem, which is under the Tablet Hotels. I always satisfied with the service and hospitality of the Tablet Hotels. However the flood disaster happened in the all around of Marrakech, as well the area of the Riad. Thus the owner was in charged to move my reservation to Riad Jaaneman, their other property.
From the review that I read, Riad Jaaneman was a wonderful place, the rate is higher than Riad Meriem but they gave me a same rate as previous reservation, so there was no hustle at all.
Based on CNN Travel, Riad Jaaneman is mentioned in their article about "Morocco's riad hotels: Private palaces for travellers"

Location
Riad Jaaneman has a winning location, right in the entrance gate of the souk. Car not allowed in Medina, however it s only a few footsteps to reach the main road.

Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the rate, the variation was superb and very well presented. Homemade cake, fresh juice, a platter of fresh local fruits, bread and jam, coffee or tea.
We enjoyed our breakfast in the roof terrace under the morning sun light.

Hospitality
The owner and staffs are extremely kind. They make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we could want or need. They organized our private excursion and everything worked perfectly, I could not have asked for a better experience of staying in Marrakech.

Room
The Riad is decorated beautifully, mixed of a tasteful pieces of modern art and traditional Moroccan art.

Rate : starting €175/night
